Geo-Technical, Civil, Structural, Building and Utility/Electrical Design-Build work required for the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) located in Christmas Island and Guam.
Located in Christmas Island, AIC provided Replacement of an existing 9M antenna for a new 7.3M antenna to handle the latest series or H-3 rockets to be launched by JAXA. Included all foundations, ring wall construction, installation of two (2) each 80 KW package generators, and a 360-degree skylight survey was performed at the antenna.
Located in Guam, AIC replaced an existing 5.4M antenna by a new 5.3M antenna and a second new 5.3M antenna to handle the latest series of H-3 rockets lo be launched by JAXA. Antenna required modification of tow (2) 40-foot-high cube shipping container with rocket communication gear. 20-foot-high reinforced concrete retaining walls were provided at one of the perimeter antennas.
